Isn’t she adorable? This little sweetie didn’t want to leave Mommy’s arms (can you blame her?) What a beautiful family this is. Here are some sneak peeks for mom and dad:

The first of my April mommies came for portraits over the weekend. Spring is such a great time of year for a birthday; I can’t wait to meet the little guy when he arrives!
I hope everyone survived the record-breaking snow. We somehow managed to keep our power and dig ourselves out but, sadly, one of our beloved barns was lost. On Valentine’s Day, one of our buildings collapsed under the weight of the snow, and now sits in a pile next to the lane. Many of you have had your photos taken with the barn, as it was one of my favorite backdrops. For the next month or two the building will sit until we can find someone to pull off the valuable barn wood and haul the rest away. Fortunately, our majestic bank barn and all of the other buildings are fine.
As many of you know, I’ve had to close my calendar for appointments until next week, due to the amount of snow we received here at Valleybrook. I am planning on taking appointments again beginning this coming Monday, February 22nd.
