Modern Babies and Children (Maryland Photographer)

What a nice way to start the week. I just received my issue of Modern Babies and Children, (Baltimore edition) in which they’ve published one of my photographs (a full page, no less!) This is one of my favorite portraits, not only because the picture is of my my own sweet baby, but because I also made the outfit he is wearing. I sold the outfit on Ebay this past Spring, but I might just make a few more of those newsboy hats to keep in the studio for my little boy clients.

Modern Babies and Children - Baltimore

If you haven’t had a chance to see this publication, I urge you to pick-up a copy. This is one of the best resources for parents in the Baltimore-Washington region. Not only is it full of great information for parents, it contains many useful and timely articles on parenting as well.

Budding photographer (Senior portraits in Maryland)

This beautiful high school senior came by recently for portraits. She plans on studying early child education AND photography in college (a girl after my own heart.) She brought her younger siblings and mother with her. Mom looks just as young and gorgeous as her daughter. How is this possible? I can only dream of looking this young when my kids are in high school…

Standouts (Howard County Photographer)

Day two of my little product tutorial…;-)

A standout is made from an image printed onto quality E-surface paper, then mounted on a 1.5″ gatorfoam core. Standouts have either a smooth white or textured black vinyl band around them and come ready to hang. I have several standouts on display in my studio, and frankly, you can’t tell them apart from the canvas wraps at first glance. These are really great to hang in kid’s bedrooms or in a playroom or rec room.
